On November 12, President Greg Griffith had the privilege of hitting the links at the beautiful Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, Arizona, for the International Cancer Advocacy Network (ICAN) Golf Tournament. This annual event brings together local leaders and advocates to raise awareness and vital funds for cancer patient advocacy.


A Partnership Beyond Bonds

For over 40 years, CBI Bonding has specialized in providing expert surety solutions. However, events like this remind us that our most important "bonds" are the ones we share with our neighbors and partners. We were thrilled to team up with our friends at Travelers Bond to serve as a Pin Flag Sponsor for the day. It was a fantastic opportunity to support a life-changing cause alongside some of the best in the industry.

The International Cancer Advocacy Network does incredible work providing "boots-on-the-ground" assistance for cancer patients, helping them navigate complex treatment options and access the latest personalized medicine.

On October 17th, 2025, CBI Bonding proudly supported the SDB Golf Classic at the beautiful Legacy Golf Club . As the Golf Ball Sponsor for the event, CBI Bonding helped make this charity golf tournament a resounding success, all while supporting a cause the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) . The SDB Golf Classic brings together passionate golfers and community leaders, and this year, CBI Bonding was thrilled to join forces with fellow sponsors to help raise funds and awareness for the critical services provided by the DAV. The organization offers essential support to veterans, from healthcare services to advocacy, ensuring that those who have served our country receive the care and recognition they deserve. Joining the event on behalf of CBI Bonding were industry professionals Aron Albrecht , Doug Bennyhoff , and Andrea Windish from Old Republic Surety . The SDB Golf Classic is more than just a day on the links; it's a chance to make a tangible difference for veterans who have sacrificed so much. 

CBI Bonding Supports Youth-Focused Fundraising at the 2025 Pinal 40 Charity Golf Classic

On October 3, 2025 , CBI Bonding proudly participated in the Pinal 40 Charity Golf Classic , held at the beautiful Ak-Chin Southern Dunes Golf Club in Maricopa, Arizona. This annual fundraiser plays a vital role in providing scholarships and supporting local charities that directly benefit youth in Pinal County . Representing CBI Bonding at the event was Vice President Andy Farr and President Greg Griffith , who enjoyed a great day on the course alongside Chris Schick and Alex Wiley of Travelers Bond. The tournament brought together professionals from across the region in support of a meaningful cause, combining fun on the fairways with a shared commitment to giving back. CBI Bonding is honored to be part of an event that makes a lasting impact in the community — helping open doors for young people through education and support services. We look forward to continuing our involvement with the Pinal 40 and its incredible efforts to uplift local youth.

On September 19, 2025, Greg Griffith, President of CBI Bonding, joined industry partners and clients for a day of golf, networking, and camaraderie at the annual Haydon Desert Classic , held at the stunning Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, Arizona. Greg spent the day on the course with Chris Baniszewski of Haydon, along with Chris Schick and Joe Piotrowski from Travelers Bond. This year marked CBI Bonding’s third consecutive year as a proud sponsor of the event, once again supporting the tournament by sponsoring pin flags at each hole . CBI Bonding is honored to be part of this tradition and looks forward to continuing its support of the Haydon Desert Classic in the years to come.

This year’s 2025 event was no exception, and it was an experience to remember! The festivities kicked off on Wednesday with a round of golf, offering a chance to enjoy some friendly competition while soaking in the beautiful Las Vegas weather. Thursday was all about the games. As March Madness took over the airwaves, everyone gathered at Planet Hollywood to watch the action unfold. After a day full of excitement and buzzer-beaters, the group gathered for dinner. The team celebrated Debbie at Ember Steak House at the We-Ko-Pa Resort, a perfect backdrop to wish her well. As we reminisced, it became clear just how much Debbie has shaped the culture of our workplace. While it’s never easy to say goodbye, we are all excited to see what the future holds for Debbie as she enters this new chapter of her life. Welcome Nick Griffith: CBI Bonding’s New Controller/Producer We’re excited to announce the newest addition to our team at CBI Bonding, Nick Griffith, who joined us in October 2024. Nick steps into the role of Controller/Producer, taking over from Debbie Williams, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to have him on board. Nick brings a unique blend of skills and experiences to CBI Bonding. A 2020 graduate from Arizona State University (ASU), he earned his degree in Business Sustainability. His academic focus on sustainability gives him a fresh, forward-thinking perspective that aligns perfectly with our mission to drive growth while maintaining ethical and sustainable business practices. In addition to his academic background, Nick is also a licensed plumber—an accomplishment that speaks to his hands-on approach to business. His extensive experience in the trades gives him a deep understanding of the technical side of operations, making him a valuable asset in his new role. Before joining CBI Bonding, Nick was part owner of a solar pool heating and misting system company. He played an instrumental role in the company’s growth, providing sustainable solutions to customers while ensuring top-notch service. In 2024, he successfully sold the business, bringing his entrepreneurial spirit and problem-solving skills with him to his new role at CBI Bonding.
